OK ISP stands for Internet Service Provider, and they allow you to access the internet via their secured severs. They usually give you space on their servers for email accounts blogs personal pictures etc.. Now in the "90's they were several ISP's that afford you free accounts but the cost of maintaining the servers and security soon took its toll and forced them to start charging. Some companies refused to charge so they came up with plans like having advertisers rent windows on your desktop to offset the costs. So while you are surfing the web this pop up windows was telling you what toothpaste to use and underwear. This they soon found out was not paying the bills so they went to a pay per month a nominal fee to help off set the cost. Today free internet is almost extinct, there are a few still around but you have to search for them and then be weary not necessarily of the company but that they aren’t as secure. You can Google free internet providers and pull up lists of current and former free providers, but mostly you will find ISP's offering monthly access from 7-10 dollars a month. I will put up a list of all three ISP types and be fore warned you get what you pay for security from viruses and information predators as price goes down. Most of the time speed is sacrificed also. So take heed and do your homework!
